Mick had his annual wellness exam and dentistry this past Friday and Tuesday. His initial blood work (performed on Friday) and exam looked wonderful so we went ahead with the teeth cleaning on Tuesday. During this procedure he had his poo and pee checked out. Poo came out awesome but the tinkle had high levels of protein - a scary thing since this could pinpoint early stages of renal failure.
So a second lab test was ordered: protein and creatinine ratio to be checked. I was one worried pet mommy.
However, much to my great relief, Dr. Black called today and delivered much welcomed good news. His levels were normal.
*sigh*
SO relieved.
